Thanks to everyone who has sent in emails, put up a sign, forwarded emails to their friends, helped organize an action, donated to pay for signs, talked to their neighbors and generally showed up for street safety on Hopkins. First of all: THANK YOU! This result wouldn't have been possible without hundreds of residents taking action for a safer Hopkins Street. Every email, postcard, yard sign, and comment had a huge impact. Most importantly: Berkeley city council voted to approve protected bike lanes on Hopkins last night!
