TL;DR: Send an email to FITES now, comment in person or on Zoom on April 15, fill out a postcard for Hopkins bike lanes If you’re new here: there’s a proposal to repave Hopkins without the approved bike lanes. The first meeting to consider this outrageous move is at FITES (Facilities, Infrastructure, Transportation, Environment & Sustainability, a city council subcommittee) on April 15 at 2pm. No, that is not a good time for a lot of people to attend this meeting but the good news is that you can still get involved by sending an email to the members of FITES. The deadline to get emails into the packet is Tuesday at noon, so we don't have a lot of time to take action. Hopkins Repaving at FITES Take Action Now:

Second Sunday 2. Car-Free Happy Hour 3. BUSD Climate Fair - Safe Routes to Schools table Reply to this email if you, your organization, or business would like to host a postcard-filling-out party! |

If you showed up for Hopkins bike lanes on March 12: THANK YOU! If you couldn’t make it, here’s a recap: After demonstrating on Hopkins Street, our group biked to Civic Center Park for a quick rally.
